Going to Chicago

I'm going to Chicago!!! I'm going to Chicago!!! WHOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!

Sammy and I have been talking about doing a road trip to Chicago for a while now. He goes on about the great food dealt in his hometown, the deep dish pizza, the rib joints, the hot dog places... I get hungry every time he starts going on about it!!! Finally we inked it!!! He made mention that he was supposed to go there this weekend, but he couldn't. He had purchased a ticket for his uncle to come out at Christmas, but he wasn't able to make it either. Long story short, now he has an airline voucher to use up at some point. I said we oughtta go, and asked when a good time of year to go would be. He recommended spring time. That got me to thinking, and I asked him when opening day for the Cubs was. He got real excited about that idea!!! Anyway, its ON!!! We're going to Chicago!!! He came up to me today and told me he was walking by a radio that was playing Led Zeppelin's "when the levee breaks" just at the end part when it's going "Goin' to Chicago...." LOL!!!

Anyway, its still a couple months off, but we're both all jazzed about it!!! Going to see the Cubs at historic Wrigley Field!!! Gonna ride the El!!! Gonna eat all kinds of great food!!!
