Now That's Using Your Coconut
Apparently when they went to the store last week, the oldest boy was bugging momma to get a coconut. I have no idea what he wants a coconut for, but he really wanted one. We were at a store over the weekend and he was asking again for a coconut, so I got him a coconut. I will keep you posted on what he does with it.

He is going to need you to open it for him....yum, yum, yum love fresh coconut! You can have so much fun with this...use a screwdriver, (clean it first) and tap a hole in it with a hammer. That's a challenge in itself without cracking the whole shell. Then you can put a straw in it and watch his face as he tries the juice. My middle kid hates coconut! But the little guy got such a kick out of whackin the coconut with a hammer, then eating the surprise inside! You'll have to cut the meat yourself...well coconut meat...the little guy won't be able to get much off the shell. Have fun Aye! Oh and you can always glue the shell back and put hair on it and have your son draw a face on it! String it up and Wala! A shrunken head affect!
You could hang it from his ceiling in his room.
well...if he isn't prone to nightmares lol

You can hacksaw the coconut in half, sand the outside smooth...makes a nice cup. Brings new meaning to the phrase "monkeying around with ideas". lol!
